So I just figured I'd post this inside of the Philadelphia forum since I bet I'd get no response in the Pittsburgh forum...this has been the insane series I've ever seen in the playoffs...every single game has been like a baseball game. While I'm hoping the Blues ultimately will win, the Flyers just seem to be unstoppable right now....and man, all that fighting? Is it always like this?

I thought the Blues and Blackhawks had bad fights, but wow...the Penguins were one of my first choices to win the East this year, but now it's looking like the Flyers are becoming my new favorite...but I wanted to ask people who know this team better than me...can the Flyers go all the way this year, or was this just a performance given off against the Penguins?

im from pittsburgh and moving to philly soon. season ticket holder pens fan. i give the flyers a ton of credit, they are the best team in the playoffs so far. if they keep playing the way they are, i say theyre cup bound. i do have to defend my guins a little bit tho. this is the worst theyve played all season. D is invisible. paul martin should be euthanized. lots of frustration leading to dumb penalties and unnecessary BS. much to my chagrin, bylsma is being way outcoached by laviollete. sad to see a club with so much potential throw it all the way. i just hope philly fans can be a little gracious, but well see.....

i have a lot of confidence in the flyers right now, but i am still weary of facing the rangers. i realize this is the playoffs now, but the season series was a nightmare. i think the flyers are more talented but the current rangers play the flyers tough.

if bryz could steal a game or two that might make the difference.

That and Danny Briere is a god during the playoffs. I was also blown away by Jagr's one handed pass to Giroux. It was just perfect in everyway. This team looks really, really good right now.

I really thought the Penquins had the better team. However, I underestimated the determination of the Flyers rookies. They have the Pittsburgh defense back on their heals constantly.

Sometimes heart wins out over talent.

Both teams to me seem to play pretty much the same. They both are among the league leaders in goals for and also in goals against.

They certainly look good now, but I do worry that the flyers might just look so great because the Penguins are playing unimaginably bad defense at the worst possible time. No matter who else they face the rest of the way I don't think the flyers will be scoring 6+ goals a game. Bryz has to play better. He hasn't played terrible, but he's let in some soft goals... against a team that isn't in the middle of an epic implosion those will cost you. I do think the flyers have a good chance as anyone thought. They look great so far, can't wait for wednesday night, I just hope no one get hurt, the Penguins are a team with nothing to lose and they've already showed that they obviously don't mind playing dirty.
