I saw a beautiful home in Lawncrest around Oakley street. How is this area?

horrible. I have a friend who lived at Oakley and Lardner for 40+ years and he bailed on that hood about 10 years ago because the crime was getting crazy. It used to be nice but no more sorry to say

The higher the number on Oakley the better. Lardner is around 6100 Oakley.

Overall, Lawncrest is not that bad; it's not the ghetto. Oakley actually ends at Lardner, so that's the furtherst south the house could be. There are some beautiful homes in Lawncrest, especially west of Rising Sun Ave.

It's still one of the better neighborhoods in the city, but crime, and the ghetto is moving up. More, and more residents are bailing out of there, and to me that is the big problem in itself.
