Could any one tell me some information about the half of Wayne that belongs to Tredyffrin Township? How are the neighborhoods there? Whether it is a good place to purchase a home in? And are people nice or snobby?

And can the houses hold value well, as well as in other areas in Main Line?

Thanks a lot.

They are very nice neighborhoods with the exception of the Mt.Pleasant area. The TE school district is the top ranked district in the state so houses definitely hold their value well. Chesterbrook ,where I am, is comprised of a mix of townhouses, condos and single family homes and is also in the Wayne zip code in Tredyffrin. It's the Main Line so there will definitely be some snobby people but they are not overwhelming.

I also live in Chesterbrook. It's a great area. Exceptional school district. Good property values (as much as can be "good" in this economy).

Edit: I'll also add that it's convenient to many of the major highways, including the turnpike. As far as snobbery goes, that's a difficult thing to gauge as it varies from person to person. I wouldn't say it has that stigma if that's what you're asking.

Smile Mt. Pleasant Neighborhood

The Mt. Pleasant neighborhood of Tredyffrin Twp (Wayne, PA) is a very important historically black neighborhood. I live here and love it. Yes, the houses are tiny and old most need work... but if you want community... we've got it
