The Bloomingdales Outlet on Chestnut is a joke.
If anything the selection of Nordstrom rack is a tad better.

1. Aside of outlet-exclusive-only merchandise, there are real deal merchandise but they are from two years ago (that is Spring/Summer collection of 2013 and Fall/Winter of 2012) that had been sold in Burlington Coat Factory on Market East last year.
The only difference is that Burlington in Market East does not really care about their store appearance, while Bloomingdale outlet has the name Bloomingdale attached to it.
2. Alot of the merchandise of the non outlet-exclusive-only are only discounted around 10 - 15% from their original prices 2 years ago.
3. The mens department is a joke.

I take this personally since this could mean that their marketing team does not think highly of Philadelphians.
I kind of figured it would be a joke and I haven't bothered to look into it. Given your view(and I trust your opinion), I will just boycott it.

It's the same old thing we have complained about before: these marketing teams are solely focused on KofP.

Yeah...What a bummer.
On the bright side, it fills a vacant space.
I honestly am more excited of Old Navy HQ opening across the street next year.

I have not gone, but I have had several friends go and they all were very disappointed.

Out of all these discount chains opening, Century 21 is the best.

This will make you feel better or give you a laugh. Go to YouTube & search for Krass Brothers. Enjoy!

It's still great. I was excited when they decided to open in Philly.

Large retail space comes available on South Broad

Quote:
A large and prominent retail space has come available along the Avenue of the Arts.
The space totals 45,000 square feet over three floors in the former Avenue of the Arts building, which has been renamed the Griffin, at Broad and Chestnut streets. Other floors are undergoing a conversion into apartments.

This really sucks.
Is it where Ruth's Chris Steakhouse used to be?

Look at Atlantic Building. It has not been able to attract any tenants.
Now this.
Sorry I am so negative today - must be the hump day.

Ruth's Chris was there for about 20 years so that at least worked.
