Another iconic department store on its way out.

Chicago, Vegas and Seattle are all slated to close.

The Philadelphia space is quite small, but a Saks would be a nice replacement if it could get more square footage.
The rent on the Madison Ave location went up dramatically. And, apparently, they had a bankruptcy filing before this one.
The new tariffs are going to kill a lot more retail.

New Fashion District Stores announced. Standard mall fare but several new additions to add to the Center City mix which is a good thing. The new Zara still not mentioned/confirmed.

A few decent retailers in there (Nike is great), but pretty blah, and no home stores, and now Barneys is closing. Good shopping is still a missing link in the city.

The rent on the Madison Ave store went from $16 mill. to $30 mill. Just insane.

That was fast. Barney's on Walnut is closed. I guess this spells good news for Boyds.

Don't think Boyd's customers ever cared about that Barney's.

Once the consumer tariffs kick in retail is going to be in a ton of trouble.

Bo concept closed. Slightly surprising to me given the amount of new luxury construction. Perhaps they are moving to King of Prussia?

That is another hit for Philadelphia retail.

And not sure about the KoP, seems kind of extreme.
