Anyways, lots of work being done at the old LA Fitness at 15th and Walnut - they set up a temporary space for a non-profit tax advice center during tax season but it may be getting a new tenant finally?

Also, RE Bo Concept - from what I can tell the retail rents on Chestnut - especially that block are skyrocketing and that was a prime location. I wonder if they got priced out?

Two new spots opening on Chestnut at 17th - a chain facial place and a food spot with a liquor license in the window (Old Jason Matthews/Bean Beauty fronts).

Also - not sure if this was relayed here but a Bang and Olufsen is coming to 2000 block of Walnut.

Nice to hear that the 2000 block of walnut is getting a bang & olufsen...the 2000 block westward is prime now.

Yeah - just need to add some trees. It's weird once you cross 20th street - the greenery ceases for several blocks.

There's also a Blo/out spot opening at the new retail spot at 22nd and Walnut and Townsend (one of the cities finest restaurants imo) is moving from Passyunk to the Big Leagues (2100 block of Walnut.)

Was about to post myself. (No, this isn't one of mine.)

Right. It’s a cool and unique stretch of CC walnut street. The Laurel condo high-rise going up in the 1900 block will certainly help. The trees and streetscape will come in soon I’m sure as the connection between CC-UC grows.

Definitely good news but doesn't it seem strange to have so many grocery stores concentrated together in center city? This is near the Trader Joes and the Whole foods. I work in Rittenhouse close to Broad Street and would love a full grocery store nearby. I enjoy going to MOMS but it is a bit of a hike.

I think the Acme and the Whole Foods at 10th and South - note that they're across the street from each other - might just be closer to where you work, depending on where in Rittenhouse close to Broad Street you work.
