Paint the party walls on the adjacent buildings (they look awful), and install an 8'+ decorative fence along the sidewalk that says something like "Excuse our appearance, exciting development underway!". At least it would show people that the city / retail district organization gives a s*** about appearance.

A good use of city time would be to put pressure on the situation. They should also do that for the Jewelers Row lot and Disney hole lot. But that means city leaders would need to care about QOL issues.

I have to laugh... Wawa announces closures of 2 CC stores, and KoP announces Givenchy coming soon...

Philadelphia needs more nice things.

(just a fun statement, I am not saying Philly needs a Givenchy store, the timing was just comical).

Yes! It's called Venditore, connected to Giordano in the Italian Market.

That would be cool!

The only US cities with that concept are NYC, Chicago, and Seattle.

Is the person who told you reliable? Like what's unconfirmed mean exactly?

That would be bad news for the new Venditore shop next door, but regardless - it would be cool to have.
