I lived, worked and went to church in center city and I didn't meet men often. I wasn't looking either. Some daring ones will stop you and ask you out. I was in my teen to early 20s then and most of my friends lived in university city. It depends on where you go to church. I attended a certain church when i first moved to philly and I met lots of young adults but I was 19 and they were in their mid-20s and out of school and working whereas I was busy with school. Still, I got hang out with lots of them till I fell off the grid to work like a fool. At another church, there weren't many young adults. The churches in philly that have young adult ministries do have active ones and it's easy to meet people through that by hanging out and volunteering for habitat and so on. I really, really miss that. I think it's easy to meet people in center city and philly as opposed to where i live now. I'm actually looking to move back to philly just to meet people and have a better social life. Are you looking to date an AA males only? If you're open to other races then center city would be a good place to meet anyone. I don't recall seeing many AA professionals males but then again I had a crazy schedule when I lived there.
