Oh here we go again. Rain, I just posted info from that report on schools from the Pittsburg Business Times a few days ago. You may disagree but facts are facts.

In this area it's Tredyffrin, then Central Bucks, THEN Unionville, Then Radnor and LM. Sorry to break it to you but Chadds Ford schools really ARE that good!

As for Downingtown, they're good, but I'd go with Tredyffrin, Unionville-Chadds Ford, Great Valley and West Chester over D-Town. All nice areas but the schools are better by a hair, and the towns are better as well...unless you like new construction and McMansions, then you will find plenty of that in the D-town school district.

Ok Kids, just admit it the area of Chester County for the most part has great schools, I am a product of D-Town high school and I run a not-for-profit in Key Largo. My husband a grad of St. Pius X is a Nuclear Engineer. I think the area itself is fantastic old and new. I miss it! I was born in Coatesville and still saddened by the deterioration of that town, but still there are fond memories.
