What nationalities are seen a lot? (I include Brazilians as latinos as well). Is it similar to NYC area? Where are there more South Americans in Philly?

There are all kind of Latinos in Philadelphia and they are spread all over in North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia and Northeast Philadelphia. Even in the suburbs there are Latinos. The other thread posted here will provide you more information.

There are a fair amount of Brazilians in Philadelphia. I'm not sure about other South American populations. I think the very high majority of Latinos are Carribbean and Mexican/Central American. Puerto Ricans are the #1 population. The city population is about 10-15% Latino, much less than NYC.

Vineland, NJ and Lancaster, PA are both about ~40% hispanic with most of those people being of Puerto Rican descent.

lancaster has had a large concentration of Puerto Ricans for decades as they moved there for factory work (which, like kensington, has since left). even a generation ago it was about a quarter hispanic. i believe it's shot up to 37% or something recently though I don't know if they are puerto ricans moving in or other hispanics at this point.

Bethlehem, Reading, Allentown and Hazleton have large Hispanic populations, also.

There is a Brazilian population in Northeast Philly--in the Castor Gardens/Rhawnhurst area. There are many Brazilian businesses along the main commercial corridor Castor Avenue.
