HA! Where you from originally? And you'd better not say South Philly or Kensington.

I lived in Mantua (or maybe it was the border of Powelton) when I was a kid. Until 1979. High Five!

Haha wasn't it great? Haha I missed you by a couple of years. I started living there in 81.

Have you been around recently. It's changing. Crazy fast

When I hear "Powelton," I think Ira Einhorn. No offense.

Taste isn't something you're born with. It's developed. Kids don't choose what neighborhoods they live in. They live where they live. Growing up in Mantua shaped my worldview in many ways... but taste in cuisine is not one of them.

I could have grown up in a dumpster I'd still come out fresh to death and looking down my nose at the potato skin eating masses.

How about if the potato skin is fresh made from a local place, say, from a bar such as McGillin's? Is that still unacceptable?

How about pierogies? Do you approve of a homemade pierogie? I love them! Deep fried or pan fried in butter with onions, either way. With sour cream, of course.

haha I'm mostly just ragging on you about the potato skins. When i said that potato skins were garbage I mostly just meant that they were garbage in the sense that they are absolutely terrible for you. Then you were so offended by that I just thought it was funny. I eat things that are terrible for you, i mean I'm pretty sure all of the sandwiches at paesanos are basically a heart attack on a hoagie roll. But they are amazing, so to me it's worth it. potato skins though? Idk they just aren't really my favorite thing and it's not worth eating them imo. if they were actually made fresh I'm sure they'd be a lot better then some frozen tgif bs, but still not my thing.

Pierogies? I don't know I never really liked them much, think the ones at the super market are gross, my friend took me to this place in pittsburgh where they supposedly have famous ones. they were pan fried with onions and kielbasa and served with sour cream. they were okay i guess. certainly better than the kind you get at the grocery store, but again, idk, i still wasn't crazy about them.

haha it seems you really like foods that combine potatos and sour cream.
