I eat things that are terrible for you, i mean I'm pretty sure all of the sandwiches at paesanos are basically a heart attack on a hoagie roll. But they are amazing, so to me it's worth it. potato skins though? Idk they just aren't really my favorite thing and it's not worth eating them imo. if they were actually made fresh I'm sure they'd be a lot better then some frozen tgif bs, but still not my thing.

Pierogies? I don't know I never really liked them much, think the ones at the super market are gross, my friend took me to this place in pittsburgh where they supposedly have famous ones. they were pan fried with onions and kielbasa and served with sour cream. they were okay i guess. certainly better than the kind you get at the grocery store, but again, idk, i still wasn't crazy about them.

haha it seems you really like foods that combine potatos and sour cream.
Yeah, I eventually caught on that you were busting my balls about the potato skins ... and, yeah, I love potatos with pretty much anything (sour cream, cheese, butter). I'm a fat guy trapped inside a medium-sized guys body.
And I'll agree that potato skins (and just about everything I eat on the weekends) are garbage. You like Ishkabibble's? They were on their A-game last night with the mushroom cheesesteak and cheesefries. Pure garbage, I know.

I went down to South Street to check it out and try my first cheesesteak here at Ishkabibble's, but I ended up eating at Pietro's.... darn. I'm still motivated to have my first cheesesteak at Ishkabibble's with the sweet potato fries. Mmm!

NO. Just no. If you go to Ishkabibble's get the regualr cheesefries and make sure you tell them "well done." And get a gremlin.

Hmm... I'll keep that in mind. The Gremlin was definitely on my order sheet already!

I love the potato, sour cream combo. I can't get enough. That said, I'm not happy with the chain restaurant offerings.

Pierogie - supermarket pierogie are terrible. If babcia didn't make them, they aren't worth eating.
