Not really. It can be boring, but there are some historical sites to check out: Constitution Center, Liberty Bell, Reading Terminal, food market in S. Philly and Ben Franklin park. As for the rest of the sights seeing: Penn's Landing, Genos and Pats in S. Philly and the steps of Museum of Arts that Rocky ran on.

I might add South st to the list of things to do in Philly as well as Rittenhouse Sq./Walnut. Still, there's not alot to do in Philly. You might want to check out the neighborhoods. Some are good, and some are in shambles. The food is decent like Philly's cheesesteaks and Pizzas. There are some fine dining to go along with so many fast food places like donuts places.

Wow! Philly can be boring???? Really?!?!

My God if you can get bored in Philly anywhere on planet earth will be boring for you.

Might I suggest a solid uncontrolled addiction to heroin to take you mind off the mundane.

Of course it is! It ain't Los Angeles, NY, Chi and SF. It's not even Seattle and Boston. It's good for history since it's the birth place of U.S.. Got to give credit for that. Other than that, it's nothing to write home about.
