she did not kick the stroller. I agree with west. She was texting and not paying attention.

Yeah, I don't think she kicked it. Looks like she was just flailing about, but the depth doesn't look right for her to have kicked it. Looks like she was just not paying attention.

Last night while playing softball at the Dairy Fields in Fairmount Park we were interuppted by a very low flying helicopter circling the fields. At first it looked like is was in trouble, then it appeared it was following someone........then four dirt bikes come out of no where and tear across our outfield. The next field over, one in which they also tore though had young kids maybe 5-8 years' old playing soccer. The chopper was following this group. one of the bikes stalled out and the rider had to walk/run it off the field. He ran in to the trees heading down to Lincoln Drive. Fortunately the cops came and were able to arrest him. Not sure about the other 3, but oddly haven't seen any thing in the news about this. I thought they would have made something of it since, one, it's getting much worse, and two, that little boy in West Philly was seriously hurt by one of these a$$es a couple weeks ago while trying to get in his family's mini van.

Anyone else hear see anything about this?

The police have dropped their "don't chase" policy with dirt bikes and atvs. I'm sure not all officers are going after them when they see them, but you'll start seeing incidences where they crack down on the illegal riders. The reaction is pretty typical. These kids are used to getting away with riding these things, and they're more than irresponsible enough to put small children in danger when trying to get away.

figured it would since this is a major problem in the city for the last decade and has gotten exponentially worse every year. Not to mention it is a pretty safe bet the animals on the atv's are more than likely guilty of a ton of other crimes as well.
