Does Outlaw even still work here? I think I've seen her like twice since she started. How she was able to climb the ladder as far as she did is mind-blowing.

Pre-pandemic times, I guess.

In any case the new PPD headquarters never stopped being worked on even when there was
supposed to be a contruction shutdown back in the Spring. Probably considered "essential".

Because I'm starting to really NOT want to go downtown...even the once a year that I do. Another child killed, a PPA worker stabbed.

What the hell??
I go there ( Center City) pretty much every day. No problems at all.

Kenny and Chief Outlaw have to do something (she's been an unmitigated disaster). "Anything" would be a healthy uptick but this is outrageous and it's only a matter of time before these human scum realize that their violent crimes go unpunished and that innocent people will be targeted more and more.

Way to go, Philly. We're #2.
Crime is up tremendously in NYC(compared to what it was) which, in the long run, is a bigger problem for the country given NY supposed stature. I'm thinking about cpomp posting that Madison Ave is a retail disaster. I was there back in December and there was zero indication of any kind of apocalypse going on. Quite the contrary. If Madison Ave is failing that means the Upper East Side is in trouble.

He so utterly blew it with Outlaw, it's shocking. I'm not sure what the answer is, but this violent uptick isn't acceptible.
Homicides were going up before her. Pretty sure we talked about it in this thread.

But, of course, none of this is acceptable.

Weirdly she did it in one of the whitest cities and states in the country. Maybe the idea was if she could make there she could "make it" anywhere.

The pandemic happened but, that isn't a credible excuse for someone who should know logistics and deployment.

Some might suggest a "socio-demographic" reason why. But that wouldn't be politically correct -- not even to offer it as a possibility.

I hope once the W opens and construction winds down on the sidewalks, it may improve. That corner doesn't bother me, but its certainly off-putting to a lot of visitors.
