No. Looters and thugs are still justifying their actions with the shooting. It amazes me how anyone could accept someone smashing a window and emptying out some poor business owner's life as an appropriate reaction to this.

And you are sustantiating trumps idiot law and order lies. Great way to ensure that nothing will change.

I agree. I have zero tolerance for what is happening throughout the city. And what does looting a Walmart in Port Richmond have anything to do with the killing in West Philadelphia.

And this behavior is only boosting Trumps efforts and chances at reelection (which I am getting very nervous about).

Further, are American cities supposed to deal with this every time there is an incident with police? I am not justifying the actions of the police in this circumstance, but come on...this behavior only hurts the community and sets them further back. Also burning cop cars?, that comes back around to affect budgets, taxes, etc.

Regarding this particular shooting, obviously it was different than George Floyd, but I still don't understand why they had to fire 14 shots, but I also understand it was a tense situation, adrenaline running high, its hard to shoot an arm or leg when the target is running around, etc. BUT I also think the cops could have either backed off or tackled the man or done something before shooting 14 shots. There needs to be an explanation from PPD sooner than later.

Regardless, the aftermath makes me sick, and there is zero excuse for it, I don't care what any woke person says.

I just hope things calm down and the city can get it together and rebuild together. Philadelphia is a great city and I don't want to see it go down this road while the nation watches.

Yes, last night was much calmer, a few sporadic incidents but for the most part things were much better.

I don’t understand the argument that this helps Trump. The polls haven’t show this at all. I think most people understand he’s stoked the divisions that have led to these incidents occurring.

I believe its calming back down a bit after the curfew, not that there aren't thousands of people disregarding it.

Why is it that I see no outrage over this incident on social media or any news sources? 11 shots at 15th and Market at 630pm?!
He could have literally hit anyone. Completely ridiculous and horrifically brazen.

Also, the man shot was sitting on a dirt bike...Any connection to the hoards of riders that terrorize people in Center City.

Simple: Because it does not fit into the political agenda of any of these false-righteous groups.

The real question is "when will the masses start to put these groups in the spotlight for being selective, reverse-racist, pretenders with an agenda only?" Personally, I'd like to see the black community raise up with the white community to condemn the news media and these groups as opportunists who are working to sink us all.
