Here’s another Philly-based crime. Less than 40% of the city is double shot vaccinated from a virus than literally kills or seriously impairs (for life) a lot of the people the virus comes into contact with. Imagine if I went around with a simple shot to literally halt the measles scourge in it’s tracks and people were like “naw, I’m good. Some dude told me I’m straight.” Just ridiculous. I hope you all don’t find out the hard way. Will make this thread look silly with “bodies dropping” from people not understanding science. Or, rather, refusing to acknowledge science. Morons. But you guys have your agenda (chicken hawks), so have at it. I’m not a person of color BTW. Sheep. All of you. Wake up and walk outside.

F’ing Chicken Hawks. Out of curiosity, you guys ever “clock”? If you have no idea what that means, which wouldn’t surprise me, means you’re true fraud far righters. Sad, I lean left-middle, yet wouldn’t never perpetuate what you are doing.

Too Busy is going to ban me. She’s “too busy” to literally monitor this blog. Regardless people, enough. Stop dealing with these fraud neo nazi people. Seriously. Sandy, we know you write for Philly Mag. That’s awesome. You don’t have to reference it every time you make a statement. I mean seriously Mate, it’s ridiculous. Grow up time. Cheers and ciao

A good read. Philadelphia should not be an experiment where rich "progressives" (they're views are far more conservative / keep the status quo than are progressive so I put it in quotes) fund politicians to administer their theories.
I got more out of that article than that.

It seems a slew of factors contributed to the surge, and Krasner's moves may not even have been the most significant ones.

What I got out of that was that all the alternatives young men had available to them that kept them from just running the streets were either shut down or went virtual when the pandemic hit. And — just as it is for working people — virtual meetings and activities do not, and cannot always, substitute for in-person contact.

Absent that contact, the streets were the only alternative.

As far as those "rich 'progressives'" are concerned, you might note that the young Black woman who moved to the Northeast in order to find a safer neighborhood to raise her son in, then lost that son in a shooting outside Philadelphia Mills mall, considered voting for Vega but in the end voted to re-elect Krasner anyway. Her reasons say something about how some of the people most affected by crime view the administration of criminal justice here.

I plan on buying one of the reporters who worked on it a drink at the Pen & Pencil this evening. That was a masterfully reported and written feature.

Well, we know who's an angry drunk.

You're not invited to Vince's.
