Point Breeze (19th and Federal):

I hate any kind of rape, but if it's random, it makes it that much worse. If this 25 year old is indeed guilty, I hope he gets put away for decades.

South Philly (Columbus Boulevard and Tasker):
http://6abc.com/news/man-stabbed-on-...phila/2083814/
10:30 on a Sunday morning? I'm wondering if it involved the bums who stand out there and beg ...

Some friends would argue that I am over-the-top with my opinion on rape. But I believe that in the worst circumstances, it should be a capital crime. There's no room in our society for rapists.

A 43 year old man stabbed the Wawa manager twice in his arm during an argument.

Gee, let me guess...your friends who think you're being over-the-top about it are men. (Yes, I know men can be raped.)

I know a lot of men (including myself) who think certain instances of rape should be a capital crime.

Yes, and I'm a man, but I don't think people recognize the emotional and physical toll it takes on a woman. And as an empathetic man who has great respect for women, I recognize that it's an intrusion of the soul in the greatest most sacred manner.

Yet, we have been sending people away for far longer on marijuana charges than on rape charges. It's a very misguided system in this way. If we all thought about it in context of our daughters, maybe it would be measured properly against other crimes (murder being the only one that is equal or greater IMO).

North Philly (17th and Huntingdon):
http://6abc.com/news/bicyclist-shot-...lphia/2096960/
Sounds like he was a moving target ... Tried to beat somebody on a deal perhaps?

North Philly (Front and Indiana):

Just assume drug dealers.

Tioga (13th and Butler):

13th and Butler ... an alley ... 1:30 a.m. ...

Mayfair (this could actually be Holmesburg):

http://6abc.com/news/mayfair-funeral...bbery/2108231/
Read what Frank said in this story ... If anybody thinks Mayfair is headed in the right direction, they're kidding themselves.
My cousin was laid out at this funeral parlor.

Again with the Mayfair:
http://6abc.com/news/video-purse-thi...yfair/2104077/
What a scumbag.

Germantown;
http://6abc.com/news/bystanders-flee...ntown/2106991/
Stop with the "Germantown is a good neighborhood" nonsense. It hasn't been good for 35-40 years.

Hunting Park:
http://6abc.com/news/man-shot-in-the...-park/2103723/
The shooter didn't quite get the job done ...

Fairmount and Spring Garden:
http://6abc.com/news/jeep-wrangler-b...arden/2103861/
The scumbag junkie thieves like to target the better neighborhoods in the middle of the night because they know the residents are in bed, getting ready for work.
Bridesburg has been targeted by a tire thief.

When I had a car I garaged it when not in use. And the only car break-in I ever had was in Haverford. Not Havertown... but in Haverford on the Main Line.
