I am new to Philadelphia, am currently living right at the edge of Temple..
I do not have a car.. and it's tough to try to get a ride to church every Sunday.. Does anyone know of a church nearest to Temple?? Possibly a short walking distance from Cecil B. MOore. Thank you!!

You might want to indicate your preferred religion.

Theres tons of churches on Broad Street, a little walk or a ride on the subway can get you to the church. Not to mention that Temple University probably has some type of christian organization that can direct you to a local church.
Lol and if nothing works out you can come to my church on Frankford and Church St. You can take Broad St subway to city hall, and then take frankford margaret-orthodox sub(blue line) and get off at Church Station(how ironic isnt it) and then go one or two blocks North on Frankford ave and you will see Salvation Army on the left hand side. We would love to have you come to our church. Our service starts at 10, and at 9:45 AM we have prayer meeting which leads into service, and Bible Study after church.

I feel like anybody who lives by Broad and Cecil B. must see churches every time they walk down the street.

Churches and fast food joints are two amenities that North Philly actually has in abundance.
