I'm not a big fan of Primo's, the only one I kind of like is the one on Clearfield in Port Richmond. I'm telling you, try Jack's @Hegerman and Wellington, they use a French bread roll.

Well I like the hard seeded rolls like the ones primo's have and that's why I put them at the top of the hoagie list

I think I'm going to add to the "things you love about Philadelphia" thread: the seriousness with which its inhabitants will endlessly discuss the merits of sandwiches.

I seriously giggle a little every time I open up CD and see this thread still at the top of the list.

^^^ Hey, half the reason we're planning a move to Philadelphia is to get a good sandwich!

worth it.

One of the things I love about Philadelphia is the ease with which I can find good bread as well.

my mom is visiting from the Philippines (she retired there after living in the States for almost 35 years) and brought home a tuna hoagie with cucumbers. She was waiting for the bus and decided to walk in because the next bus was like an hour away.

IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!

I'll have to make my own pilgrimage here sometime this week
