What scum of life came up with this abomination of a commercial?: Is the price of liquor privatization really death?

I thought this was an April Fool's Joke at first, only not in April... really!

Seriously the clerks don't influence the customers.

The folks who came up with that commercial really ought to be ashamed of themselves.

LOL. Effective at what? Being surly to the customers? Not knowing anything about the products on their shelves? Cluttered store layout? Limited product selection?

Oh, it is to laugh. Ha ha ha. Ho ho ho. Hee hee hee. [/Daffy Duck]

I've met a couple state store employees who really know their stuff (particularly at the Narberth location) but I admit these are few and far between.

I was at the Narberth store yesterday for the first time in years and I saw what looked like a "VIP" (visibly intoxicated person) shopping for more vodka... hopefully the clerks did their job and refused him service...

Besides the obvious about the clerks, I also have to laugh at how they run out of popular wines like White Zinfandel at holiday time. Like, you didn't know the holiday was coming and there would be extra demand? Happens every year.
