Hello fellow bloggers, I am in need of some serious help. I was recently offered employment in NJ, and have decided that I want to live In Philadelphia. Now I have visited Center City before, I have lived in NYC, and now currently Living in the Lehigh Valley Area downtown. I am very familiar with the city living, potential crimes, being familiar with your surroundings, etc. However, I still need help to find the best/safest area to live in. I am a 25 year old female. I will most likely be living by myself and need help with what areas will work for me. I have been doing some research to try to find the best areas in Philly, and have come up with these neighborhoods. (Fairmount Area, East Falls, Northern Liberties, Fishtown, Old City, Manayunk, Queens Village, Bella Vista). These areas seemed to get the best reviews. At first I was gearing towards Northern Liberties, or Fairmount, but now I am so confused. In terms of rent , I can afford anything at this point, so I do not need help there. I want to be able to live in a neighborhood, where I can walk my dog safely during the day and at night, be able to walk to and from my car, and around town during the day without fearing for my life lol. So can anyone please help me out with this. please!!

Of the area's mentioned Old City and Queen Village are by the far the nicest, but you can not always rely on street parking close to home. It is often a matter of riding up and down streets looking for someone pulling out. If affordable rent is not an issue there are apartment buildings in Center City that have secured parking included or at an additional cost.

Before you leave the Lehizzle, please be advised the barstools at the Old Brewery Tavern or the Your Welcome Inn in BeTHLEHEM are saved for you.

May I suggest; 777 South Broad
Philadelphia Luxury Apartments for Rent - Center City Apartments

Although as far as dog walking stay on Broad St until you get a few blocks north.
