I have been shown 2 very nice houses in the Fairless Hills section of Bucks county. I believe it's the Wistarwood subdivision of Fairless Hills. I currently live in center City Philly and need to move soon, but would like a safe place. Please help with any thoughts! Thank you!

I have never heard anything bad about Fairless Hills. Pennsbury School District one of the best in Bucks County.

Thanks. The homes are in Bristol Township School District though. I'm pregnant with my first, so have some time I guess....
I just worry about some of the Bristol areas that have high crime roughly 5 miles away. After being in the city so long, I'd like to be able to feel safe if I need to walk or run by myself at night for example.

I never realized parts of Fairless Hills were within the Bristol Township borders. I would avoid the Bristol School District if you think you will be there for your first starting school.

Fairless Hills is a respectable and safe blue collar suburb but only the portion in Falls Township. Bristol Township is the armpit of lower Bucks county with bad schools and low class people and I wouldn't buy a house in that township. Tell the realtor you want Middletown (Nesaminy) or Falls (Pennsbury) only, not Bristol.

most of Fairless Hills is Falls Twp. Some is Bristol. But even the Bristol section is very nice (not the part of Bristol Twp you are thinking about..... not even close). The biggest disadvantage to the Bristol side of Fairless hills is the taxes, they are typically thousands higher than Falls Twp taxes.

More lies. You'll be safer in some city neighborhoods than you will be in some suburbs.
