I recently moved to Rittenhouse, and I appear to be in a dead zone. I can't receive any local networks at all. I only receive NJTV and sometimes a Spanish channel. My apartment is in the rear of the building, and I am surrounded by high rises. I've tried multiple antennas from RadioShack and none have worked. Does anyone else have this problem, or did I happen to choose the only apartment in Philadelphia that won't allow me to watch football?

Good luck with that. I lived in Center City a couple years, and getting a TV signal was always a matter of luck and patience. Some stations, such as ABC and PBS, I was never able to get in. Others it was just trial and error. If you have plans to watch something, give yourself 10 minutes ahead of time to mess with the antenna, and be prepared to be disappointed.
