I am confused. Are you saying jobs in CC pay less then outside the area? I always believed it to be the exact opposite.

Outside the city there are more choices that will quickly take you, especially if you are willing to leave the area... So statistically speaking you might have to take a job that pays slightly less to be in the city. Jobs go fast in the city. So the jobs in CC pay more but they go faster and are more competitive.

I got you. There is a lot of competition for lower wage jobs in the city because of those that do not drive and college students. You are right, when you get into the outer areas that are not easily accessible by Septa, there are more jobs to be had.
