In the general area of Philadelphia what are the most prevelant sorts of bugs/rodents/pests you have encountered? What are the differences in these problems with the changes in seasons?

Pretty much the same as the core of LA.

cockroaches and mice were issues for us in the city. Not in the burbs, not one of either for years. Can anyone explain that? Why would mice be an issue in the city but not in the burbs? I would figure the other way around

I've never seen a mouse or roach in my house, just spiders, waterbugs and thousand leggers. I haven't seen a waterbug since I sprayed.

From what I see in the streets, I'd say rats. Rats everywhere.

When it gets extremely humid you'll see waterbugs all over the streets in some neighborhoods.

a cockroach is a waterbug.. at least in our eyes.. We had both in Philly. Red ones were roaches and the black ones were waterbugs. Never seen rats though

There is a sizable raccoon population in certain parts of the city.
