33 - 27 over Washington in the season opener! They haven't shown that much energy in years.

Be jealous.

That offense was moving so fast.

Vick definitely showed signs of fatigue the second half. I am not getting excited yet. I think the Eagles second half showing is pretty much what the team is defensively speaking. I see 8 wins at best, but probably only 7.

I'm not getting excited until we have a new QB.

According to Chip, not fast enough.

Teams have won with far worse QBs. Vick looked good.

His entire career he's never had a problem "looking good" early in the season.

Teams that have won with far worse QBs have had defenses that could carry the team, and QBs that weren't prone to making stupid mistakes.

...sorry for the negativity on this feel-good thread. The Eagles are super exciting this season, regardless of how well they do

I was saying the samething , 8 n 8. I enjoyed the game , I really liked seeing the running backs get used the way they should. 8 n 8 is good for a new couch with a new system. Next year , you will see more new faces as Chip makes this team his own. The defense is very suspect. Rg3 was rusty missing the whole preseason and he was scared to put pressure on the knee the first half and they still made it a close game.
