Nahh not that far. Joey Vento used to live in Shamong before he died and drive to Genos steaks every morning at 4 am from there.

Mr. Vento (RIP) must have really loved Shamong: a map search predicts a 55-minute commute for the 37-mile ride to Geno's Steaks.

He had a huge home with garages for his classic cars.. It was more of a compound. The cheese steak business was good to his family.. Here is the home. It sold in May of this year.

Homes for sale - 336 Atsion Rd, Shamong Twp, NJ - YouTube
Very nice house. For the sake of his family, I hope it sells at least at their initial asking price.

But I think you get the point that IMO Shamong is quite a distance from Philadelphia for someone looking for fellow Giants fans. As someone else suggested, it would probably be easier to look in Central Jersey and points north at that point.

A little off-topic, but I hate those types of videos. They are not "videos", just a slide show of pictures set to dramatic music. If there is a video, it should be someone going through the house with a camcorder. Otherwise, just skip the music and let me scroll the pictures myself, which would take me 10 secs. rather than 3 minutes and 47 secs. of boredom.

ummmm.... I can't imagine any drinking bar in the city being at all friendly to Giants fans or any new york team for that matter.

I don't see there being any sports bars geared toward one of the division rivals in this city. I would be absolutely stunned if there was actually a Giants Bar in the Philly area. The Chiefs sports bar on 11th street can survive in this city because it's a AFC team and not a team the Eagles play that often.
