You can change your address to Paris, France if you want. Just use the right zip code.

The mail will probably get to you eventually, it will just take less time if you use an official or preferred place name.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I've noticed this too since I moved to PA. It seems that the townships are nothing more than subdivisions of the county and the towns that are known are just zip code tabulation areas. Levittown has five zip codes spread across portions of three townships - Falls, Bristol, Middletown - and a very small portion of Tullytown borough. Same deal with Fairless Hills, which is mostly in Falls Twp, but a small portion - mostly newer developments - in Bristol Twp. I'm here a little over a year now and while I can say I have figured it out for the most part, I am a bit curious about how all the Street Road towns sorta run into each other. I know they usually group Feasterville and Trevose together, and they are mostly Lower Southampton Twp, but where exactly does Trevose end and Feasterville begin? Anyone?

And I never knew there was a stigma for Southampton, which is really Upper Southampton Twp. What's that about? It all looks nice to me.

My wife grew up in Southampton Twp, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, at a location with a Flintstone, MD 21530 address. Some time after she had to explain that away to get in state tuition at Penn State, they changed that area to Clearville, PA 15535.

Nah, this is Southampton in Bucks County, on Street Rd between Feasterville and Warminster.
