I am looking into Temple's Law School program and wanted to get opinions on either what has been said about the school, reputation wise, or the area it's located.

Thank you.

Excellent reputation. Area is not good, but improving. Best advice is to live in center city and take the subway to school.

Well, my mother went to Temple to get her Master's from Fox.

She enjoyed her profressors and classes.

Temple's reputation is improving by the year.

Make sure you ride the subway before making a commitment to commute on it. The Market Frankford has to be one of the most ghetto subway lines in the country and I try to avoid it if possible at night!

I'd concede that many of the actual elevated parts of Market-Frankford El line (i.e. outside Center City) aren't the most aesthetically pleasing. However, Temple is located on the Broad Street Line. Depending on where one lives in Center City, you may or may not need to get on the El to connect (for free) to the Broad Street Line.

Street wisdom is useful at night in any major city.
