If you are looking for a new home, there are some fabulous new construction communities in Upper Makefield right now - schools would be council rock which are amazing and pricepoints would be in the 700-900k range. Also stick closer to the newtown/yardley border to be close to I-95 and the train station.

I wanted to post a new thread but couldn't find how to do it so I thought I'd latch on here and see who could please help.

I'm relocating again (state number 7 I'll be living in) for a new job in Radnor and am trying to figure out where is best to live. My husband and I (no kids) are looking to rent a condo, townhome or smaller house (or will consider a new apartment complex) first and we like brand new to newer contemporary housing not old. I like the idea of a short commute with taking a short train ride with a good schedule to the Radnor stop as an option for bad weather or just simplicity as my company will pay for using mass transit. I will also be traveling for work, so I will also need to get to the airport often.

What areas fit the bill, and if you know specific developments to check out that's appreciated too. Thanks!

Chesterbrook is a mile or two from Radnor might be a good place to check out,its a large townhome community but its not connected to Radnor by rail.

Here are most of the towns that sit on the Paoli-Thorndale Rail Line that links all these towns together and eventually Center City. They are all good towns but anything new is going to be pricey. Wayne ,Narberth,Ardmore,Bryn Mawr probably have the best town centers.
