Hi All,
Any idea how long the commute would be from Yardley to Burlington? Also on another note - How long would the drive be from Princeton to Burlington? I'll also post in the NJ forum for the 2nd question.
Thanks for all replies!

from Yardley, jump right onto 95-295 and not a bad ride. Probably.... 30 min?

Yardley to Burlington about 25 minutes. Princeton to Burlington about the same, maybe 5 minutes further.

With Yardley to Burlington, you have to advantage of having two major route options, in case there's ever a problem with a bridge or an accident.

You can either cross over one of the Trenton bridges, take 29 south to 295 south, you can get to Burlington pretty quickly, even under 30 minutes if no traffic.

You can also take Rt. 13 south from Yardley, and go over the Burlington-Bristol Bridge and you're right in the middle of Burlington.

You also have the option of using 130 in NJ if there's ever some big back-up on 295.

I like commutes that have lots of options

Thanks for the replies and I agree more options the better, especially when talking about a commute. He'd love a 35 minute commute - that would be heaven compared to what he has been doing for 8 years!! On average what do you think the driving time would be?
I just looked up the location of his possible office, it's on 130 by the 276 exit. Since this is north of Burlington this would take less time - right?
This could be an exciting opportunity

It will all depend on the time of day and the traffic. But it would be rare to be over 35 minutes.

But if I had the choice between commuting to Burlington (or north of Burlington) and Princeton, I'd definitely pick Burlington. Yardley to Princeton means Route One. No matter how you to try to find alternate routes, you're gonna be on Rt One at least part of the time, or on some smaller road that's heavily affected by what happens on Rt. One. Traffic nightmare.

Oh Great - The office will be Burlington - I'm just checking out which side of the river to live on. Our kids are not used to seeing their Dad during the week so it would be amazing for him to have a short commute.
Much Appreciated!!

what company will he be traveling to? you may want to work with the company itself to see if there are other people who live within the vicinity, and could share the ride to work.

This is especially beneficial since any commuter vanpool that travels into the state of NJ would get the NJ Transit subsidy of $175 per month towards the cost of the vanpool
