Does anyone know the real scoop on the difference between these two high schools? More specifically how much test preparation and home work is given.
I have heard a lot of talk about how much harder Strath Haven is then Penncrest. That a lot of pressure is put on them to do really well academically and on tests. They also I heard are given a lot more homework then the students at Penncrest.

I am concerned, as my son who goes to SWarthmore Rutledge school will be entering the middle school in September and there is already a lot of pressure placed on him to get ready for middle school. He is feeling overloaded and stressed with the amount of homework he has been given lately.
The more I hear about the differences, the more I wonder if I should relocate to the Rosetree Media school district.
I know some folks are firm believers in pushing their kids academically but that's just not my ideal. I prefer minimal homework and minimal testing.

Any insight? Has anyone done the switch?
