I have had my bouts with alcoholism and I am back to normal now. That being said it is well known that Philly is an excessive drinking city in addition to eating high gluten foods. What are the rates for Philadelphians with Cirrhosis and with our Health Care crisis how will this impact the City and the Commonwealth?

We're just regular ol' people on an online forum. How would we know the rates of cirrhosis in Philadelphia? If you want an answer to this question, you'll have to do some research.

combined with the heavy drinking which is irresponsibly promoted by the local media, eating high gluten foods contributes to cirrhosis along with diabetes.

Give me an example of the local media irresponsibly promoting heavy drinking.

Starting off a newscast during football season at a local bar. This must end!

So if I don't pay attention to the local media and drink heavy, but I still eat high gluten foods, I won't get cirrhosis and diabetes, right?

Bars are fun! Some people can handle alcohol, some can't ...

loose cannon, you are to be commended for your continued recovery.

As suggested in post #3, it may be easier to undergo research on the connection that you're seeking...although in my layperson's opinion, Philadelphia may not be much different - for better or worse - than other cities whose climate and landscape doesn't lend itself to fitness-related actvities.
