i agree about the weather. I wrote this years ago and I will share it for you now.: I don't wanna know if and when it's gonna snow. I don't wanna hear about the icy roads. Weatherman you bring me down sensationalize to advance your career. Storm tracker doppler merchant of fear. Loose Cannon sometime in the 2000s I am a poet. You didn't know it. A modernrn day Bukowski of sorts.

I'm 23 years old. I grew up on channel 6 with Jim Gardner, Lisa Thomas Laury and esp. Rick Williams, Monica Malpass, Cecily T. I Love them. I remember seeing them being little . The fact they are still at channel 6 means and shows alot. They are comfy here. Philadelphia is already the #4 TV Market anyway. 6ABC in decline ?....i don't think so. They are still the top rated. NBC10 is starting to catch steam and be neck and neck....FOX 29....CANT STAND IT...GRAPHICS LOOK A LIL BEHIND......CBS3 Never cared to much for them. But i love how all of them except for FOX 29 have a nice looking studio....lol

The younger people on ABC do not grab me like the old guard. I'll have to watch more.

He was on Channel 6, and then abandoned Philly for NYC!!! Came back later on another network. Don't know if loyal Channel 6 viewers every forgave him!

Jim Gardner gives off a very paternalistic vibe. When you pair him with the younger women on the station, who are nothing but cleavage and hair and chirpy delivery, Channel 6 news just reeks of misogyny.

I am always amazed at what people are capable of seeing. Where do you get this stuff? Besides, we want to hear the news from a fatherly figure calmly delivering bad news.
