Looking to move to Pa not sure where yet but thinking in the area of between Lebanon, PA and Exton, Pa. I know that is a large area to cover but looking for small town, walk to areas, but not an area that is dead. I will have to find a job somewhere in the area. Looking for a friendly place, friendly neighborhoods with things to do. No children. Pennsylvania is beautiful country and heard lots of good things. Don't know the area so any input would be great.

Exton is arguably on the outskirts of the Philadelphia metro. For locations further west, you might find more answers on the Harrisburg sub-forum or even the general Pennsylvania forum.

Exton itself has some walkable areas but is largely a typical suburban area. It will be pretty quiet save rush hour on Route 30/Lancaster Avenue. There are more walkable towns further from Exton - e.g. Wayne, Bryn Mawr, Ardmore - although they are part of an expensive string of neighborhoods known as the Main Line.

If you would copy the questions in this thread along with your answers, it will help us to offer more focused suggestions.

Exton is where people in Chester county go to shop. Malls, box stores, strip malls, not real attractive but I think they have just about any store a shopper could possibly want. Sounds like NOT what you are looking for.

As I suggested before, the general Pennsylvania forum might yield more answers as Lebanon is far outside the Philadelphia metro.

Look elsewhere, the Hispanics have taken a shine to Lebanon.

Other than perhaps the necessity of brushing up on their Spanish, why should the OP be concerned about an increased presence of Hispanics in Lebanon?

Let's just say the culture they bring with them isn't exactly "quiet." That good enough for you?
