I've noticed that the city feels more "alive". It does feel a little more crowded.
As another poster said in the Spring there are more people in the city period; from the college students, to the usual shore vacationers who are still in town. It took me 30 mins to get from University City to Center City today because traffic sucked. Not to mention all of the construction going on in the city right now.

The city in the summer feels really laid back IMO. There is more space; as a lot of people are on vacation or out of town.

I noticed University city is quiet and less crowded in the summer because of the college students being home for summer break
