How? Their burgers start at $5.79, Fries start at $ 2.29, and a drink costs $ 2.79. Your meal must have consisted of fries only ! I can never get out of there under $10, plus a buck or two in the tip jar.

I could go to a restaurant and have a sit down meal in a quiet environment (Why does Five Guys feel they need to have the stereo on full blast all the time ?) for about the same money. The only reason I ever go to FG is because they are right next to my work and it is convenient.

simple. I haven't eaten there in a year since burgers started below $5. fries and a drink are wastes of calories and money.even if I needed more food, the size of the fry portions is obscene. the dollars I used to spend at five guys have been taken by shake shack where the base burger is $3.75 ($4.25 with cheese).

You're right about the fries, I wish they'd offer a half order.
