Hi!
My dilemma is that I work in Malvern, PA and my boyfriend works in AC, NJ. We currently live in Philly but are looking into purchasing a house either in NJ or PA. These are some of the things that we are considering:
-a nice house in a safe neighborhood
-not more than 60-65 miles commute for him and 35-40 miles for me
- Price range of 300-350K
We are not considering Philly due to the city wage taxes. What are some of the nice towns in PA and NJ that are not too far from AC or Malvern?
Thanks,
Krissy

Price range? Which bridge is most convenient (Commordore Barry, Whitman, or Tacony?).

For him, I assume you'd want to be close the expressway. There is a bunch of reasonable priced towns off of Rt 42. I'm not sure how far it would be for you to Malvern though plus you would be traveling towards the city (think traffic jam).
It's going to tough to find what you want

I'd suggest Haddon Heights-Barrington-Audubon, NJ area.....even parts of Cherry Hill. It will be a traffic-free commute towards A/C about an hour (60 miles). Getting over the bridge into Philly from the above towns is easy as you don't have to take route 42. However once you get into center city - I-76 will be a traffic nightmare. It will probably take you about an hour to get to Malvern as well even though its only about 35miles.

I've lived in Marlton and Maple Shade (Cherry Hill area) and would recommend those areas to live in.
