Pot, cocaine, and ecstasy, I believe. It will be interesting to see what kind of deals the "little fish" get in exchange for digging up more dirt on the "big fish."

Venue is an important consideration as well. The defendants won't be getting much sympathy in any court, but a Philly jury will almost certainly be far less forgiving than a MontCo jury.

Do you even want a jury trial in this situation?

So much for people coveting the so-called "prestigious" school districts.

The leaders of the ring went to the Haverford School, along with some local fancy private colleges.

There were a couple sub-dealers from LM, Harriton, Radnor, and Conestoga, but they appear to be the itty bitty fish. Their lives may not be permanently ruined if they play ball with the cops.

Depends on the judge.

True, but drugs happen in every high school. Be it a nice area or a terrible one.

This only got special attention because it was those richer districts......but this happens everywhere......Drugs in the richer school suburbs isn't so big a secret anymore. Its actually very common in america to find high schools in richer areas loaded with dope and drugs.....because the kids have money and can afford the dope......anyone born after 1960's is aware drugs are everywhere.

Drug use is fairly universal among that age set, and certainly suburban kids haven't solely been going to the "ghetto" to get their fix all these years, but a network this large definitely merits media attention.

I personally have no problem with pot other than it makes the already dull teens even duller. Don't know what the current medical info is in terms of danger. Don't know much about the dangers of ecstacy; coke can be a killer, though. What makes me shudder is the extensive heroine use in this country. How I WISH we could put those dealers away for life! To me it is one of the biggest problems facing our society.
