Hi all!

My husband and I are in our late 20s and moving to King of Prussia, Wayne area. We have been looking through websites like apartment guide and apartment.com however we want to explore other friendly communities within the area. Would you guys have any suggestions or would you happen to know any realtor who can help us?

Thanks in advance!

What is your preferred budget and for how many BRs?

Areas that are popular with 20somethings within your parameters might include Ardmore and Bryn Mawr as each of them has a decent nightlife by suburban standards and, along with Wayne is on the string of affluent suburban towns running on Lancaster Avenue/Route 30 called the Main Line.

West Chester is beyond your radius at ~20 miles but also has an active downtown and you would be far from alone in commuting up to KOP and Wayne.

Conshohocken is somewhat of a midpoint between Wayne and KOP and technically a bit further from from the former than the latter but is popular with 20somethings commuting to both of those areas.

Thanks for this! Our budget is preferrably $1500 for a 1 bedroom but we wouldn't mind having a 2BR as well. We initially checked out Valley Forge North Towers however, still undecided as I believe there are more areas, though less advertised, that we can check out.

$1500 should be more than enough for a 1BR in most cases.

Valley Forge North Towers would certainly be convenient for the KOP commuter - and not too terribly bad for the Wayne commuter - but you'd basically be in the middle of "Office Park Land" broken up by the second biggest mall in the country (whose restaurants may act as default nightlife for some).

I second Wayne and Chesterbrook, might be hard to stay there though when you eventually want to buy depending on your budget. But great area, plenty to do, great schools and low taxes. If you're working in Wayne theres really no need to look elsewhere unless there is something more specifically you want.
