Proximity to Trenton - Doylestown/Warrington approx 35-40 min, Perkasie is further, about 10 minutes more North. Warminster is about 10 more further west.

Schools - Doylestown/Warrington are amazing schools, Central Bucks. Perkasie is 2nd best. Warminster some parts also go to Central Bucks. but the majority goes to Centennial which would be last out of these.

Housing at 400k or below - Doylestown, it will be tough.. Warrington, theres more available in that range. Warminster, yes definitely, 99% of warminster is below that price. Perkasie - yes, you can even get new construction at that price right now and it's very nice.

I think Doylestown is good 50 minutes from Trenton. Personally I think that Doylestown is the best out of the bunch but there are only few homes available in your price range. Taxes are relatively high, schools are good, there is a walkable downtown, museums etc. So not your average subdivision style suburb.

I see that Bucks County Schools seem to be very good regardless of where you are. That is encouraging. Still have a lot of time, so I will keep taking in the comments.

Thank you much

Bucks county schools are considered very good.
I also suggest New Hope, PA. If you can afford it I would highly suggest looking into New Hope. Its closer to Trenton and its a really neat town! Google maps puts you at 30 mins from New Hope to Trenton.
