I know there are already similar threads but I didn't like them so I'm starting my own

Looking for a chill bar to go to in Center City around happy hour on Friday night. Preferably somewhere that won't be totally packed, although I realize that may be a tall order. A good place to meet a date, perhaps.

Probably around Center City East (can be west though), would prefer south of Arch. Somewhere where my friend won't have to pay a ton for parking.

Any suggestions?

ETA: Will probably be more on the tail end of Happy Hour, so 7ish?

I've been to both Nodding Head and Bru on Friday nights for happy hour. Nodding Head wasn't too crazy, Bru was packed. I've also done Continental and that was fine as well, but on a Thursday.

Fergie's often has music upstairs and the pub downstairs. Hard to go wrong here.

That doesn't sound terribly chill though. Looking for somewhere that won't be crazy packed.

Do you want a bar or lounge - upscale or more casual

Inside or outside?

There are a ton of options

From Del Frisco's to McGlinchys

Casual, relaxed, not super crowded.

Too trendy and superficial.
