Except for the lamb sausage, Paesano's sandwiches are all $6, $7 and $8. The potatos for $2 are one of the best deals for a side in the city.

I think I have passed that place a few times. Does it fall between Cottman and Tyson? Corner property kind of looks dumpy from the outside? Are they pricey?

Taylor Gourmet is pretty lame and real overpriced. The play up the Philly thing pretty hard but go about it all wrong. All of their sandwiches are named after Philly streets but in some cases they spell the street name wrong. I've been to the Bethesda, MD location and there was a sandwich on the menu called the "Pattinson Avenue" - I guess they meant Pattison Avenue. It looks like they googled maps'ed Philly and picked random streets. Who's going to order a sandwich named after Island Avenue... Also they simultaneously play up the go green angle - I don't need a three dollar organic soda with my hoagie.

I didn't think the food was good. Their broccoli rabe was terrible. If there arnt many good options and I'm out of town I might spend $11 for a hoagie but I'm not going to support a place that lectures about authentic Philly this and authentic ingredients that which kind of sucks overall. It's like a DC version of Philly and lacks the actual down to earth Philly vibe.
