Has anyone else noticed if you don't like nike, basketball, skater or dress shoes you are sol? Particularly the nike / basketball type shoes are 8 out of 10 of all the shops. Also having a hard time finding jeans that aren't feminized, shiny, or "distressed".

Really? You can't find shoes? Is this a serious question? This is the 5th largest metro in the nation, I'm sure you can find any type of shoe you want.

Seriously. I was expecting this thread to be authored by one of those bizarre users with just a handful of posts (which are usually asinine in nature).

Instead of telling us what you don't like, tell us what you're actually looking for. If you're not looking for sneakers, dress shoes, or casual skate shoes, what are you looking for?

For some reason I suspect you're looking for a casual hiking shoe (something like what europeans wear with jeans). Try I Goldberg?

How would you like to be me? I wear a size 14, but have narrow feet. As far as sneaks are concerned seems like everyone stocks size 14 in a wide width only.

I eventually found a shoe in the adidas store however we stopped in a dozen or more other stores and it was virtually the same selection of nike and other brands carefully selected to look like nike in basketball or skater selections.

My problem is that I am learning that I cannot wear 95 percent of my footwear in the city because nothing I owned previously is comfortable enough/lasts long enough for 2 mile + walks.

Any suggestions? I can't just wear running shoes every day.
