The only area which might be doable is Bensalem or certain areas of Bucks County and eastern Montgomery Co. This is would be taking the Burlington Bristol bridge into Burlington and then commuting down on I-295. I-95S will have heavy traffic but still it's doable as well.

I'd avoid anywhere in central or western Montgomery or Chester counties for Cherry Hill commuting and vice-versa.

Ideally, sticking in So. NJ would make most sense and there is no daily bridge toll to worry about.

And be a heck of a lot closer.. Get an apartment. Taxes will not come into play then and you can be right 'round the corner from your family

If you need to commute to Cherry Hill for work, I'd agree with the above posters. If you want to commute to Cherry Hill to see your grandkids once a week or so, then anywhere in the eastern portions of Montgomery or Bucks Counties would be OK. Just be careful because some of those areas have relatively high taxes as well.

I think this new poster would be a "frequent visitor" (as opposed to daily commuter). Driving into Cherry Hill from, say, Bala-Cynwyd or Havertown during non-peak hours would take about a half hour each way. Of course, if you want to be really close to any point in South Jersey, nothing beats South Jersey itself.

You will surely get a lot more house for the money in Cherry Hill than any of the PA towns.

I trust the American Community Survey, conducted annually by the U.S. Census Bureau, over anyone's subjective impressions based on cherry-picked data points (including my own).

But we know that taxes are a bit lower in Burlington County.

True. Taxes are a bit higher in Camden county. But you can buy a heck of a nice home for well under $200k. Look at this one. You could buy it for $180k.
