Ten years ago the report would have stated that man sustain severe injuries to his leg and head and is in critical condition. Now they just come right out and tell you that his head busted open on the sidewalk. I'm sure his family appreciates the morbid details contained in the story of his horrific injury. I too hope he survives. There are a bunch of world class hospitals very nearby and often in situations like that time is everything so he at least has that in his favor.

yes it just goes to show that stories arent graphic now but people are just too easily offended. God forbid the story convey any sense of the horror tgat took place. if he were my family the last thing id be worrying about is whether the news story reported it too accurately.
