Hello Everyone,

I am moving to Plymouth meeting for my job. For first 2-3 months I am looking for some cheap motels or sublet/temporary apartments in this region. I don't have car license so public transport is the main requirement. Once I get car license and buy car, I'll find permanent one.

Can you suggest any cheap motels (extended stay types) or areas where I can get temporary accommodation for 2-3 months?

I am new in USA and I have no idea of this place. Would really appreciate if you can help me out.

Thanks a lot,
Dip

Public transportation in Plymouth Meeting is pretty much limited to Ridge Pike and Germantown Pike. There is an Extended Stay America on Plymouth Road at Germantown Pike.

Can you tell us where your job is? Can your employer help?

Thanks for reply and sorry for getting back really late.

My job is in Maxx Med. on Plymouth meeting road.

I see there are L line bus and 27 Line bus which connect p.m. mall and from there its a 5-7 minutes walk.

Extended Stay America and Spring Hill Suites are across Plymouth Road; it would be an awkward walk (no sidewalks) but a short walk.

The 27 bus runs from Roxborough, a neighborhood in Philadelphia, on Ridge Pike to the Plymouth Meeting Mall. Places in between are Roxborough, Andorra, Lafayette Hill, and Plymouth Meeting. Route L runs along Germantown Pike to the mall west from Philadelphia's northwest neighborhoods.

Good luck!
