Hello everyone, this is Tracy, I'm moving to Newtown PA(18940) because of job transfer, I've been looking for a apartment for rent online, but did not go well, the available apts are either too expensive or far from company(I don't have a car..). I'm a little worried now since I need to report to work on Jan.5th. So I'd like to know if anyone who's familiar with Newtown could provide any advise,. I could pay the rent at any affordable rate. My company is located near Holy Family University(1 Campus Drive, Newtown, PA 18940), so I think any available site in this school district would be great for me. Thank you so much.

unfortunately Newtown is not very transit friendly With Holy Family along the bypass look at potentially some properties in yardley (but close to 95) as well as they may be closer than Newtown proper

best of luck

in all seriousness you will likely need a car there eventually

Yeah, you're going to be in a real tough spot without a car there. The Holy Family campus isn't really near anything so you're either going to be walking/riding on the bypass or driving (I don't even think there is bus service there). You're best bet would be to look in Newtown or Yardley boroughs until you get a car. If you can get one before then, something in Langhorne, Feasterville or Lower Makefield/Levittown/Falls area should be cheaper. Good luck!
