I came out the DMV today and was going to get me a whopper and some onion rings and discovered that Burger King is no longer in business. So how long has it been closed because it doesn't seem like that long ago that it was open. I felt the same way I did tonight when I discovered Cosi's was closed down on 18th and Walnut.

Of course, I like BK, but be careful - some here are going to look down their noses at you for even thinking of eating there. You know, the same types who are angry about a chain like the Cheesecake Factory opening in Center City.

How well is BK doing as a chain? That might explain it. They have a lot competition especially in Philly.

You seriously crack me up, FBJ. I don't mean that to be condescending. These posts just make me laugh.

Somebody should turn your restaurant posts into a book called something like "Diary of a man who is constantly chagrined to find his favorite fast food spots closed".

"June 28: I walked by Pinkberry the other day. It looked locked and dark despite it being 3pm on a Tuesday. I fear it's happening again. Life has started to lose its meaning".

Of course you are among the few, the only chain ranked worse by consumers was McDonald's. There's a Wendy's at 11th and walnut

Funny, I just discovered the other day that the Burger King in Paoli (which had a major remodel not long ago) has closed and will soon become a drive-thru Starbucks. Of the many Starbucks in and around the Main Line, only the ones in Devon and King of Prussia (in front of the new Target, which also has a Starbucks of its own) have drive-thru service so far.

Also, as for The Cheesecake Factory (mentioned in an above post) their subsidiary Grand Luxe Cafe is coming soon to King of Prussia Mall, where The Cheesecake Factory alreadyitself has a restaurant.

The only Burger King near me now is at 20th and Oregon so unless I am clothes shopping it will be a while before I eat at Burger King again.

Well maybe that's why they started selling 10 Chicken Nuggets for $1.49

Wendy employees must have gotten a raise because their small combo meal is $8.00
